Coconut Coir
The core of the mattress is made from coconut fibers mixed with natural latex without the use of formaldehydes, which act as thousands of tiny springs, providing your baby with the firm support recommended by experts on safe sleep, while reducing individual pressure points and the risk of immersion.
Wool layer
The core is then wrapped in a layer of natural wool. Wool brings many benefits to your little sleeping baby, it is naturally hypoallergenic and regulates temperature with excellent breathability. It is also a natural protection against dust mites and a natural flame retardant, which means that our mattresses are tested for fire safety in Europe without the need for any chemical sprayers.
Cotton cover
What holds all these layers together is a luxurious cotton coating. The cover helps to improve the breathability of the mattress and is soft on the baby's delicate skin, so the baby can sleep again and again.
This is the foamed sap of the Hevea rubber tree. Latex products meet the requirements for luxury bedding in front of the person, as well as, with a love for the environment. The extremely good elasticity of natural latex perfectly supports every part of the body, like thousands of springs. This provides a special comfortable feeling when sleeping. The sleeping child perceives the high supporting capacity of natural latex not as "hardness", but as adaptable anatomical support. Natural latex is both soft and supportive, helps to relax pressure points, it is not unimportant that it is antimicrobial and does not absorb dust like foam products, and is hypoallergenic.
NATURAL LATEX
Alas, in the market of children's mattresses there are such products where Artificial latex is used, of course it is cheaper than natural, and many manufacturers, in order to reduce the cost of the mattress production process, use coconut coir, bonded for elasticity with synthetic latex. BUT! It has nothing to do with Natural. Our supplier of coconut coir – the company KO-SI D. D. (Slovenia) - uses ONLY NATURAL latex for its production.

The filler of our mattresses has passed strict hygienic control and has all the necessary quality certificates, including the international Eco-Tex Standard 100.

The coconut filler is made exclusively from natural coconut fiber and natural latex. The fiber is harvested from coconut husk, a resource that is widely available. Coconut trees grow on 10 million hectares of land in all the tropics.
LATEXED COCONUT FILLER
This wool comes exclusively from Texel, an island off the north coast of Holland. The population consists of 13,300 people and more than 100,000 sheep. The Texel people have been raising sheep for over 600 years and have developed a unique breed of sheep that is hardy and produces wool of unsurpassed quality. Texel sheep have adapted to a very windy and harsh environment to produce unique, long wool fibers with a high bump factor and a naturally high lanolin content. Texel wool products are softer, thicker, warmer and more durable. It is particularly well-suited for sleep products due to its superior durability, hypo-allergenicity, and humidity regulation.
NATURAL SHEEP'S WOOL
NATURAL 100% COTTON
Almost pure cellulose, cotton is the most widely used natural fiber in the world. The main reasons for this are softness and breathability. Cotton easily absorbs moisture, which makes cotton comfortable in hot weather. The history of cotton production can be traced back more than 7,000 years, perhaps it is the purest form of cellulose. Global production exceeds 100 million bales per year. Like many natural fibers, cotton is soft, breathable and very comfortable when in contact with the skin.
KO-Si D. D. : "Coconut fiber has a very high lignin content, so it's as stiff as a million springs. Despite this hardness, it is also elastic. The fiber hardly deteriorates over time. To make the fiber elastic and create very open and ventilated structures, we spin the fibers into ropes. These ropes are transformed into sheets and then sprayed with natural latex, the sap from the hevea rubber tree, to provide structure and elasticity. The latex we spray on a coconut palm leaf is inherently hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and dust-resistant, making it ideal for allergy sufferers. Natural latex is a completely renewable material. Natural coconut coir is a product that is naturally adapted to the human body. Lying on such a mattress, we feel comfortable as in a cocoon, just as we feel comfortable on wool and cotton. The difference becomes quite obvious when we wear, for example, a shirt made of polyester or cotton.
Dutch Texel wool is harvested from a sustainable source without harming or harming the animal. Each sheep is sheared each spring, producing about 11 pounds of high-quality wool. Sheep are raised on natural pastures that have never been used for agriculture. The wool is refined using a unique process that produces exceptionally pure wool containing a high natural lanolin content. Any process that uses chemicals or produces toxins in the wool is strictly prohibited.
Natural latex is a natural renewable material. 100% pure natural latex is inherently hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and not suitable for dust mites, making it ideal for allergy sufferers or those who want to breathe fresh, clean air while sleeping.
